Washing buckets at the end of the maple sugaring season on the Allen sugarbush in Croghan
Washing buckets at the end of the maple sugaring season on the Allen sugarbush. Croghan, NY. Circa 1990. Donated by Warren and Eleanor Allen.
The Allens moved from New York City to the Croghan area in 1975, to make maple syrup. They sold their own syrup, and their neighbors’ syrup, in New York City for years.
