Transporting ore by horse-drawn wagon to the railroad in Edwards

Ore being drawn from the mine to the railroad. Driving the first team of horses is Claude Hance. Story attached to photo at the SLCHA Archives: Robert McFerran brought the horses a chocolate each morning on the first trip down and the horses would stop and refuse to go past the store until they had their treat. There are four teams with wagons in this photo. Circa 1910-1920. Edwards, NY.
