Martin Moody, who served as postmaster, pulling a wheel barrow in front of his home. Taken in the spring: note the muddy road. Martin Moody was part of the Moody family that was among the earliest permanent settling families of Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake. He was well known for telling tall tales. Circa 1900-1910.
