The Union Hotel in De Kalb Junction

The Union Hotel, originally built in 1863 by Clark Goulding, was sold to Patrick Green within a year. The building was destroyed by fire in 1887. Stage coaches transported people arriving by railroad to multiple destinations in the town. De Kalb Junction was home to 41 railroad employees in 1870 half of whom boarded at the Union Hotel. 1870.
