John Francis Dobbs poses with his fishing catch. Dobbs started a business called Dobbs Cottages on Paradox Lake around 1900. The business started with one hunting lodge for rent, and expanded to twelve summer cottages. It was later renamed the Lake Paradox Club, and is still in operation by Dobbs’ great-great-granddaughter Kelly Waleski. Date unknown. Somewhere in the southern Adirondacks. Donated by Kelly Waleski.
