John Duncan Currie in his creamery at Aubrey Corners
John Duncan Currie in his creamery at Aubrey Corners, Quebec. “J.D.” as he was known owned and ran the Aubrey Corners creamery for many years. Aubrey Corners is virtually non-existent today. Only one house and the cemetery remain but at one time it was a thriving community. The photo is from a negative by his daughter, Laura Currie who was a seamstress in Huntingdon, Quebec for most of her life. Early 1900s.
