Blacksmiths in the Baxter Foundry in Canton
Interior of the Baxter Foundry, featuring two blacksmiths and lots of tools. Wooden molds for casting are hung on the back wall; the wooden molds were pressed into sand, removed, and metal poured into the imprint. Can see part of the process in action with the man on the right. Circa 1890. Canton, NY.
