Alcoa guard Dale Harper at guard post during WWII in Massena

At Alcoa plant during World War II. This is one of the 72 guard posts that were around the fence line during war time. Most of these posts were equipped with a 74-inch search light. These lights would create a beam of light that could reach over a half mile. Plant Protection guard Dale Harper is on the platform. Circa 1941-1945. Massena, NY.
