Filling and stacking bags of dirt for construction of the Iroquois Pipeline in Hermon

Workers fill bags with earth during construction of the Iroquois Pipeline, and stack the filled bags on a trailer. The Iroquois Pipeline was built to transport natural gas from Canada to downstate New York. The company brought in its own construction companies to do the work. Lots of forest had to be cleared to make room for the pipe line. Summer of 1991. Hermon, NY.
